School of Pharmacy

In 2014, at the beginning of his tenure as Dean of the VCU School of Pharmacy, Joe DiPiro and his wife, Cecily, established this fund to support students at the School of Pharmacy through scholarships.

“We were fortunate to receive financial assistance through scholarships when we were students and we want to offer the same to today’s students who are balancing so much while they are in pharmacy school,” writes Cecily DiPiro. “We know many students accumulate debt prior to entering pharmacy school and the opportunity to apply for scholarships provides them with one means to avoid further debt. Our students are creative, energetic, focused and compassionate and we know they will bring their passions to the practice of pharmacy.”
