Linda Nixon Harvey Scholarship

The Linda Nixon Harvey Scholarship was established by family and friends to honor the life of Linda Nixon Harvey P’85.   Linda was killed in 1986, just nine months after her graduation from pharmacy school, in an automobile accident.

Linda was graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was involved in many activities and served as an officer in several organizations including President of the Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Honor Society, President of the Sigma Zeta Science and Mathematics Honor Society, Treasurer of the Class of ’85, and Treasurer of Kappa Epsilon Pharmacy Fraternity, Province Director and she was a delegate to the 1983 National KE Convention.

The Linda Nixon Harvey Scholarship will be awarded to a fourth year pharmacy student (P4), who has maintained high academic standards and demonstrated leadership abilities. The recipient should exemplify the spirit and standards of excellence, and in general, be a well-rounded individual.   The recipient’s actions must exemplify professional integrity and those superlative traits that would set an example for others to strive to achieve.
