Virginia and Linwood Leavitt Scholarship

The Linwood and Virginia Leavitt Scholarship was established through the estate of Linwood Leavitt, class of 1941.   Linwood was a successful independent community pharmacy owner who held numerous leadership positions in the State.  He was also very active with MCV and served as President of Alumni Association. He passed away in 2005 at age 90.   The purpose of this fund is to provide ongoing merit scholarship assistance to students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the VCU School of Pharmacy who have demonstrated an interest and achievement in senior care pharmacy.

Criteria

  • Pharmacy student in any of the four years
  • Merit scholarship
  • Demonstrated interest and achievement in senior care pharmacy
